Healing for the Body and Soul

Due to me reallocating to the country I will now be to continuing Soul/Shamanic Healing remotely  This will allow me to be more available to those who don’t live locally. I am based in rural Central Alberta, Canada which is Mountain time. 7 hours behind GMT.

 Hello and Welcome to Earthsongs

We of European descent, living on other continents, often feel we have to ‘borrow’ from other Nature traditions in order to deepen our spirituality. In fact, we are the inheritors of ancient rituals, symbols, mythologies, and healing knowledge; a diverse, Earth-loving, life-enriching magico-spiritual system, tens of thousands of years old that has been oppressed and discriminated against for two thousand years but is now beginning to enjoy a blossoming renaissance. This heritage includes rituals and ceremonies to mark, empower and celebrate the cycles and seasons of Earthly life. Our ancestors used plants for healing, beat drums and chanted incantations and danced to commune with Spirit. They knew how to live ecologically and harmoniously with Nature, cherished family and community, and lived their lives in accordance with the laws and rhythms of Nature.

Our ancestors knew how to communicate with animals, plants and stones to determine their healing gifts. Their magic, their wisdom, and their experiences are encoded within the very cells of our bodies, in the eternally spiralling DNA memory coursing through our veins. (Gina McGarry)

The Wise Woman Tradition is the oldest tradition of healing known on our planet, yet one that is rarely identified, rarely written or talked about because it is a tradition of self-love, respect of the earth and all her creatures. The Wise Woman Tradition tells us that compassion, simple ritual and simply ”being” bring about healing and wholeness/holiness for everyone and everything.

“The greatest music of all is the music of what is happening in the now”! This statement sums up beautifully how the people of this tradition walked through the world; acknowledging and praising and emulating the grace and beauty of nature—the great song, or the ‘Oran Mor’, as it is known”.

The Wise Woman Traditions of healing celebrate our inner knowing and empowers us to step into our birthright as creators of magic, as healers, as children and allies of our Great Mother. This is also one of the most unrecorded traditions of healing, and part of its magic is the fact it often goes unseen and unspoken.

Nourishment is the expression of the Divine Feminine in the hearth. Wise women heal by nourishing, supporting others in their transformations, by empowering them, and connecting them to the wise woman and wise man within themselves. There are no gurus and no universities on this path, for the power is not in the healer but the power is in the self and in the moment.

Healing Sessions

Shamanic Healing

In a time we may never remember, when all the ancients walked on pathways we have forgotten, the Earth was not as we know it today. Our Ancestors discovered a path into divine experience through a natural, mystical connection with Nature. Through this quest of outward connection came a deep, inner awareness of a new consciousness.

Massage Therapy

I offer therapeutic massage and relief from accidents or injuries. Since I live and work in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains I’ve become acquainted to the chinook winds that we experience here. These winds change the barometric pressure causing pain and discomfort in some individuals. I’ve learned the patterning and holding which happens with those who suffer from the pain of headaches.

Energy Medicine

“Every breath is a second chance.”Such a beautiful quote, which is sometimes used alongside many dandelion tattoos! Bringing to mind the similarities between dandelions and us humans. The most perfect symbol of survival and rebellion. Dandelions sink their roots deep into the earth in order to endure and when faced with trauma, dandelions often come back twice as resilient.

Sound Healing

Sound and vibration are the fabric of the universe. Cultures the world over use sound to attune to, invoke, and transform consciousness.  Sound is a powerful tool, because it is vibrational in nature, and we are vibrational beings. Everyone and everything has its own optimum state of resonance and vibration.

Please if possible, schedule your appointment so you have time afterwards for yourself.  Try your best to have a clear intention and desire for healing, as well as allowing yourself permission to let go of old patterns. You may want to ask to receive a healing dream, or make a prayer that you are committed to change and heal, you may want to create an affirmation or an intent. Dress comfortably for the session with no tight clothing, thus allowing your physical energy to flow thoroughly.  It usually take one or two days after the session to fully integrate the work. Be kind to yourself during this tjme. The effects may be gradual or dramatic. We are all different and each session may also be different.

Oftentimes once an appointment is booked, synchronicities may begin to happen. This is usually to support the healing and bringing to the surface that which needs to be seen. Be open and take note.

Identify for yourself the following:

Where do I feel out of balance?

Are there unhealthy patterns which are no longer serving me?

Is there people or situations in my life where the connections are unhealthy?

Are there places in my body where I feel regular pain or discomfort?

Am I feeling called to seek spiritual healing?
